Military after High School
Military service is a positive option for any high school student considering. Here you will find numerous resources that will guide you along the process of transitioning from secondary school. Choosing the military after high school could be very beneficial, not only are you able to serve your country but you also may be able to attend college without crushing debt, receive valuable training in different fields, understand yourself more, and the ability to travel throughout the nation and different countries.
Enlisting
Before joining the military there is a physical requirement that entails an extensive full physical exam and the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), which test your mental qualifications and determines your job placement . There is also a required legal background check. Other requirements are recruits must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, be a high school graduate or on track to graduate within the next year. No history of serious medical conditions and no criminal felony charges or convictions.
ASVAB
The ASVAB is given once a year here at EHS. Please make sure you are listening to announcements and also checking our upcoming events for specific dates. You will have to sign-up because the test is not given to everyone. If you have miss the testing done at the school you have the ability to contact a recruiter to learn more and schedule to take the exam.
